Hehuanshan High Mountain Day Trip
TRIP OVERVIEW 行程介紹
This trip offers participants the opportunity to knock off one or more of Taiwan "Top 100 Peaks" over 3,000 meters elevation. This high mountain hiking experience includes the chance to bag Hehuanshan East (3,421m), North (3,422m), Main (3,417m) peaks, or Shimenshan (3,237m). The peaks vary in difficulty, distance, and time. It is important to plan accordingly to ensure returning to the bus on time. This trip is suitable for hikers who are comfortable and capable of hiking long distances but don't require intense mountaineering experience.
IMPORTANT NOTICE 重要通知
This trip will drop passengers off at the Hehuanshan Lookout in the morning and will pick the entire group at the same spot at the end of the day. Participants must understand that this is considered high mountain hiking and the various Hehuanshan trails vary in difficulty and length. This trip also requires participants to have moderate to strong fitness endurance levels to hike Hehuanshan North Peak, or if they wish to hike multiple peaks on the day.

• 07:45 - Bus Pick Up: Taichung High-Speed Rail Station（在台中高鐵站集合並搭上 Parkbus）
• 10:00 - Arrive: Hehuanshan Lookout（抵達合歡山瞭望臺）
• 10:30 - 16:45 - Hike various Hehuanshan peaks, enjoy the time in the mountain （自由活動)
• 16:45 - Bus Departure from Hehuanshan Lookout (集合並搭上 Parkbus 返回市區）
• 19:00- Estimated Return: Taichung High-Speed Rail Station（預計抵達台中火車站）

**WHAT TO BRING**
- Water, lunch, snacks, personal items (eg bug repellant, camera, money, etc). Come prepared with everything you'll need for the day
- Comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots Weather-appropriate clothing.
- Check forecast closer to trip date
**IMPORTANT**
- You alone are responsible for your safety in the parks and forest recreation areas we visit. Many dangers exist, natural and man-made.
- You alone are responsible for being at pickup/drop-off areas on time.
- If you miss the return bus, you may become stranded in an area with no cellphone reception and will be responsible for arranging alternative transportation.

**CANCELLATION POLICY**

If trip is cancelled, passengers will get full refund and will get full refund or can transfer payment to a future trip. Guests will be required to pay the difference if pricing of alternate trip is more expense.
