Dongyanshan National Forest
Less than two hours south of Taipei, this park is comprised mainly of Japanese and Chinese Cedars as well as some broad-leaved trees such as Beech, Oak and Formosan Rhododendrons. Under the thick canopy, flora flourishes including Giant Elephant Ears (Taro) and other lush ferns.
There are several hikes located inside Dongyanshan National Forest that are suitable for beginner and novice hikers, as well as a more advanced hike (in distance and terrain) that connects Dongyanshan National Forest to Manyueyuan National Forest. The trails vary in length and difficulty, providing visitors of all skill levels something to explore.
Guests are free to explore the park at their own pace or join our licensed, bilingual guide for a guided hike. There is a wonderful, new cafe to enjoy and a small, yet informative visitor center for guests to learn about the local ecology and heritage of this National Forest.

• 16:00 - Bus Departure（集合並搭上 Parkbus 返回台北市）
• 18:00 - Estimated Return: Taipei Main Station（預計抵達台北車站）

Notice
**WHAT TO BRING**
- Water, lunch, snacks, personal items (e.g. bug repellant, camera, money, etc). Come prepared with everything you'll need for the day
- Comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots
- Weather-appropriate clothing. Check forecast closer to trip date
**IMPORTANT**
- You alone are responsible for your safety in the parks and forest recreation areas we visit. Many dangers exist, natural and man-made.
- You alone are responsible for being at pickup/drop-off areas on time. If you miss the return bus, you may become stranded in an area with no cellphone reception and will be responsible for arranging alternative transportation.
