Visit and hike the famous Five Finger Mountain in the heart of Hsinchu County!
Five Finger Mountain (五指山 / Wuzhi Mountain) is located in the southeastern portion of Hsinchu County and connects five mountain tops along a distinct ridge line. It was famous in the Qing Dynasty and the ‘five fingers’ that make the peaks are frequently used to describe the mountain landscape of the area. It was listed as one of eight scenic spots during the Japanese occupation period. There are cedars planted all over the trail, the greenery is full of greenery, and the forest scenery is elegant. There will be a chance to explore the beautiful trail and mountains of course, but there are also many temples, such as Yunguang Temple, Jade Palace and Guanyin Temple to visit.

• 14:30 – Bus Departure (Meet and board Parkbus returns to Taipei City)
• 16:30 – Estimated Return: Taipei Main Station

**WHAT TO BRING**
- Water, lunch, snacks, personal items (eg bug repellant, camera, money, etc). Come prepared with everything you'll need for the day
- Comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots
- Weather-appropriate clothing. Check forecast closer to trip date

- You alone are responsible for your safety in the parks and forest recreation areas we visit. Many dangers exist, natural and man-made.
- You alone are responsible for being at pickup/drop-off areas on time. If you miss the return bus, you may become stranded in an area with no cellphone reception and will be responsible for arranging alternative transportation.
